Teaching health: the possible impact of working conditions on emergency remote teaching

This is a theoretical article based on empirical data, the main objective is to reflect on the working conditions of basic education teachers in Emergency Remote Teaching during the pandemic and to give visibility to the possible illness resulting from the working conditions experienced in the current context to help the category in the fight for their rights. Due to social isolation, a consequence of Covid-19, emergency measures were adopted in several sectors, among them the educational. Then, it was implemented virtuals classrooms to not cause injuries to the teaching-learning process of students; the teachers are acting on the front line with several changes in their way and form of working. They have been submitted to government decrees and bylaws; they have not had the autonomy to teach and their work has been expressly controlled. Also, they have not had physical and mental support. It is possible to conclude that there is a fine line between working conditions and the illness of the teachers, which may arise even more in the context of the pandemic that is plaguing us and there are great demand and little resource.
