This integrative review, carried out from the consultation of the terms "BNCC high school" in the database of the capes journal portal, sought to analyze the discussions undertaken in the scientific articles to analyze the impacts of the high school reform on the education of working-class children , using historical-dialectical materialism as a method. The reading and analytical synthesis carried out allow us to understand that the high school curriculum, from the BNCC counter-reform, aims to act mediately to compose the framework of human formation that capital demands through curriculum minimization, which aggravates educational inequalities, already existing in Brazil, moreover, it is configured as a privatist advance over basic education. Keywords: Educational reform.
