This article aims to understand and analyze the experience of an extension course on (self) biographical narratives, based on the impressions of the course participants, reflecting on the formative aspects of the experience. To this end, adopting a qualitative approach and a bibliographical, descriptive and field study, the text used specialized literature to present the main theoretical and methodological concepts that guided the course, as well as describing the context and the research instruments. The analysis then moved on to the proposed framework, considering emerging issues of the status of women in society. In the end, the article points to the formative potential of extension courses and the intersection of theoretical and methodological reflections with the trajectories of life, work and training.
