This article explores school education focusing on the full development of individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), guided by principles from national legislation and Paulo Freire's work. It provides a brief overview of the disorder and its specifics, drawing from Freire’s theories and other ASD scholars. It emphasizes that inclusive education, according to Freire's perspective, should be both enlightening and transformative, stressing the ethics of respect, the politics of citizenship, and the aesthetics of humanization. The article illustrates how these principles can be applied in school education to create a welcoming and equitable environment, acknowledging that differences are inherent to all humans. It concludes that the interrelation of these principles with ASD education is not only legally sound but also feasible, enhancing human potential while respecting individual limitations.
