The article investigates how intellectual productions resulting from academic research impact teaching and pedagogical practices. A qualitative approach and the critical dialectical method are used to analyze the relationship between academic research and pedagogical practice. Questionnaires and semi-structured interviews were conducted with eight public school teachers from the Federal District. The data analysis, based on the Nucleus of Signification by Aguiar and Ozella (2006), identifies two key areas: (1) Research and intellectual production in pedagogical practice and (2) Research and intellectual production as mediators of teaching practice. The results show significant impacts of intellectual productions on teachers' practices, highlighting research as a promoter of reflection and methodological innovation. It concludes that strengthening the integration between research and teaching is important, suggesting that valuing research in the school context enriches educational practice and contributes to the continuous development of teachers.
