The featured article aims to analyze teaching experiences that align teaching with research, using translational research, as it is an approach that enables effective integration between theory and practice, promoting meaningful and engaging learning for students. In organizing the activities, the didactic sequence was the methodology that contributed to organizing the set of experiences lived by the teacher and students, including research. The results point to a redefinition of teaching practice, which connects teaching and research in student training, encouraging a dynamic and contextualized learning environment, where translational research serves as a bridge between theory and practice, promoting interactive experiences in classes. and motivating, which stimulate interest and understanding of the concepts studied in a practical and engaging way, essential for meaningful learning
