Relationships between Management Team, Teachers and Collective work

This article presents a research result that aims to investigate the organization of pedagogical work in a school in the municipal public network of Greater São Paulo, in order to understand possibilities and difficulties for the accomplishment of a collective work, analyzing aspects of relationships established between teachers and management team. The data were collected through semi-structured interviews with the director, the pedagogical coordinator and two teachers (one oldest in the house and one in the beginning), in a school chosen for being recognized as good, based on their performance in the IDEB . The teaching work is understood from Contreras, and the organization of the pedagogical work in the school is analyzed from Ball. With the analyzes, it was possible to identify that the pedagogical work in the school studied was based on interactions that favor individualism and punctual alliances, with the management team maintaining the work organization through the bureaucratic domain.
