The article analyzes the field of supervised curricular internship at the Libolo teaching school, Angola, from 2021 to 2023, within the context of teacher formation and more general education in that country. With a qualitative approach, documentary-bibliographic, the study is based, especially, on the thoughts of the brazilian educator Paulo Freire. It is argued in favor of education and training as liberating practices, indexed in the life realities of teachers and students. Thinking about teacher training and supervised internships, with Paulo Freire's thoughts as central, means assuming a commitment to developing the teaching-learning process based on dialogicity, democracy, freedom, hope as a path to transforming oneself and the world.
